I purchased my male Vieja Argentea a few months ago at 4 inches. He has grown about 1 inch in about a month. This is a show fish that can be kept with other semi agressive cichlids. Mine is in with a male Vieja Biasciatus, four red hook silver dollars, and a bullhead catfish. The Argentea is the most beautiful of all with long flowing fins. I would recomend this fish to anyone who wants a uncommon beautiful show fish that is not too argessive.
